About Us
Occurring biennially, PISTD holds 8TERNITY as a form of exploration for all the aspects of the non-academic world. Whether it is by sports or by the arts, 8TERNITY aims to strengthen the potential of individuals and to prove that there is indeed, more beyond the scope of academics.
Theme
This year, PISTD hosts 8TERNITY with a new, burning theme: Ardentia.
Ardentia is a strong word, that represents courageous aspects and the willingness or determination in taking risks. It stands for bravery but with passion. Themed around the concept of an eternal, ever-burning flame, Ardentia brings new opportunities for students alike and opens new pages not only for the present, but for the future.
Mission
With a motto of Emblazing Sparks, Connecting Legacies, 8TERNITY 2026: Ardentia also aims to reignite cultures and memories that have stood the test of time with strength, which further proves that an ever-sustaining flame holds memories and experience that are valued priceless and are passed down from one generation to another.
Vision
Ardentia aims with a strong vision, to ensure students can strengthen their abilities in the reaches of the non-academics, and pursues a mission to make everyone seen, regardless of what their talents are or what fields they are strong in. Everyone here has a voice, and so do you too.
So as the brave dare venture the world full of unknowns, as their maps continously expand and record everything seen, as their compasses all point to their goal, so do we connect our legacies, remember the cultures that have raised us altogether, and ignite stronger in spite of whatever one may encounter.
